Setting the table…
For Doha
Some occasions deserve more than a message sent in passing.
This one, I believe, deserves an invitation.
Break the seal
To Doha,
I will not pretend this is an ordinary message, because it is not. I have thought about it longer than I would comfortably admit, and I have decided that the honest thing — the proper thing — is to say it plainly and to say it well.
So I leave the decisions where they belong — with you. Choose the day. Choose the hour. Choose the place. I will simply be there, on time, and rather pleased about it.
With every respect,
Ahmad Badawi
Any day that suits you. I will arrange the rest around it.
Morning light or evening calm — whichever version of the day you prefer.
Five tables I would be proud to hold for you — or one of your own choosing. One or the other; the choice is entirely yours.
Tap a card to step inside — then choose it if it feels right.
If there is somewhere you already love, I would much rather go there. Write it below and consider it booked.
The list above is set aside the moment you write here.
Everything you have chosen, gathered in one place.
The arrangement
Choose a day, an hour and a place to seal it.
